19.ASIC for base-band processing

Two ASICs were developed for WIPAS to downsize the AP and WT. One, which has a modem function, and MAC processing functions including TDMA/TDD control, Ethernet frame processing, and buffers, is used by the WT. The modem function of this chip is also used by the AP. The other has MAC processing functions, and is only used by the AP. This ASIC can manage 239 WTs.
