2.Equipment appearance

Fig. 2 shows the appearance of WIPAS STEP 2 equipment. An antenna of an AP-RFU can be changed corresponding to the service type. The weight of AP-IFU for STEP 2 is tow times less than that for STEP 1.
A WT has been significantly reduced in size and weight by combining the antenna / RF module (RFU) and base-band processing modules (IFU), and by adopting a compact flat antenna. A WT-adapter is used to connect user PC.
